    The hole argument

  • While the municipal body is responsible for only 80 per cent of the city's 2,000 km stretch, the remaining roads are the responsibility of the PWD, the Mumbai "A day after the accident, workers filled the potholes, but look at their condition now," Khan shudders as he stands at the site, posing for our photographer, his right arm kept bent on his doctor's advice. It's been a week since the 'rocket launcher' episode, but when Shamin Khan's seven-year-old daughter Anjum mentions the word shopping, the 36-year-old HR executive laughs, "Haven't you had enough from one trip. The 60-feet road in question runs right outside the Central Public Works Department (PWD) office. Last Sunday, Khan, his wife Seher and Anjum were returning home to Antop Hill from an Eid shopping spree at Mohammed Ali Road, when his Pulsar hit a pothole.

Laidlaw's Customized New Bikes

After being in the Harley-Davidson business for over 50 years we have seen a lot of bikes come and go. We have seen a lot of customized bikes and have gotten a feel for what people want to bolt onto their iron steeds. Plus it’s easy to see stock Harley-Davidsons at any dealer and we like to give our customers some extra eye-candy. The first thing you notice when you lay your eyes on this Road King are the ape hanger bars. Custom Harley grips were also installed to complete the fully chromed-out controls. We try to create a nice “start” for potential riders who are looking for a custom/radical look. Now these bikes don’t get built to win any trophies or get into magazines, they are built for our customers and are all for sale. So on occasion we will take a fresh bike from the factory and equip it with some custom bars, chrome, wheels, paint, etc. Basically we can make these upgrades a lot more cost effective than if the final customer bought the bike and turned around and did the same stuff. First, we want to still keep them in customer’s price range and second, the more you change/add the more the finished product has to fit into the image of what the ultimate buyer is looking for. New braided cables were strung for the brake and clutch and the electrical was internally wired for a very clean Ape Hanger look.

How to adjust the headlight on a 2000 harley davidson road king?

Right now the headlight and 2 side lamps seem to be pointed to high.

Check the tire pressure before you adjust anything. Check the shocks on the rear, if you have lowered the bike, then this may be why the lamps are point toward the sky, also a heavy passenger will cause headlights to point up The center lamp has a bolt/nut under the light. 1/2" size. remove the turn signal under the passing lamp to get to the nut that holds it in place. The passing lamp is on a swivel

these lights should swivel after loosening two small bolts on each, aim where you want them and re tighten the bolts. this is the way it was done years ago but can't tell you about the 2000 model hope it gives you something to look for.
John L | Aug 23, 2006
OK first go to the junkyard and pay the man to crush that want to be a bike. The road kink are not bikes they are cars. Then go get a real bike like a Heritage or something but i would rather ride a rocket than that thing and i wouldn't be caught dead on a rocket
boardbiker | Aug 23, 2006
most bikes have adjustment screws but if your headlights just pivot on screws, then maybe you can just grab (with your hands) the top and bottom of your headlights and crank them (with your hands) to where you want.
Bennett B | Aug 23, 2006
You need to remove the turn signal under the passing lamp to get to the nut that holds it in place. The passing lamp is on a swivel. John L.....don't be a dick.

Publisher: Hachette Digital, Inc.

About this book
Anthony Spencer is egotistical, proud of being a self-made business success at the peak of his game, even though the cost of winning was painfully high. A cerebral hemorrhage leaves Tony comatose in a hospital ICU. He 'awakens' to find himself in a surreal world, a 'living' landscape that mirrors dimensions of his earthly life, from the beautiful to the corrupt. It is here that he has vivid interactions with others he assumes are projections of his own subconscious, but whose directions he follows nonetheless with the possibility that they might lead to authenticity and perhaps, redemption. The adventure draws Tony into deep relational entanglements where he is able to 'see' through the literal eyes and experiences of others, but is "blind" to the consequences of hiding his personal agenda and loss that emerge to war against the processes of healing and trust. Will this unexpected coalescing of events cause Tony to examine his life and realize he built a house of cards on the poisoned grounds of a broken heart? Will he also have the courage to make a critical choice that can undo a major injustice he set in motion before falling into a coma?

About this book
On March 21, 2003, while leading a rifle platoon into combat, Marine Lieutenant Shane Childers became the first combat fatality of the Iraq War. In this gripping, beautifully written personal history, award-winning writer Rinker Buck chronicles Shane's death and his life, exploring its meaning for his family, his fellow soldiers, and the country itself. It is the story of an intelligent, gifted soldier who embodied the soul of today's all-volunteer warrior class; of the town of Powell, Wyoming, which had taken Shane into its heart; and of the Marine detail sent to deliver the news to the Childers family and the extraordinary connection that formed between them.At once an inspiring account of commitment to the military and a moving story of family and devotion, Shane Comes Home rises above politics to capture the life of a remarkable young man who came to symbolize the heart of America during a difficult time.

This review is from: Kuryakyn Phase 7 4-1/2" LED Passing Lamps 2005+ Harley 2247 (Automotive) I have to say I really love my new passing lamps (and headlamp, too!)! The light is very clear and crisp for being LEDs. Installation was as simple as changing a light bulb. Fitment is great (except that they do stick out a little more than the stock lens). So, why the bad rating? The price!!! I didn't realize that Kuryakyn puts a cardboard cover over the box to make it look like these are their lights. They are made by Truck Lite and retail for significantly less than the Kuryakyn re-badged product. And THAT ticks me off. If you contact the seller (not Kuryakyn), you may be able to get the Truck Lite without the cardboard cover and save some dough. I didn't find this out until I got the box or I would have definitely called around to find Truck Lites! 0 Help other customers find the most helpful reviews  Was this review helpful to you? , March 11, 2013

    Terrible product

First off, they sent me a product that wasnt for my bike. That upset me. I am getting tired off putting my information in for my vehicles and getting the wrong products. All the time. It's discouraging trying to save money, only to end up spending more than if I just bought the more expensive to begin with. Now, for the product. First, my bike has 3 wires for the turn/ constant on lights. These turn signals only have two. Good luck. Now my lights blink fast for some reason. No one can tell me how to fix. Doesn't matter returning because of second reason. Second, we had a rally and on this trip, the lights broke off. That sucked and was embarrassing. On the side of road for two hours in 87 degree weather trying to temporarily fix! The reason for this was because the two bolt holes that are predrilled actually split on the flat plate they have welded on. Super cheap. Also the lights bounce out of control they are so weak. That is why they broke. From the... 1/5 ray - See all my reviews Verified Purchase(What's this?)
